SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente de la Rep\u00fablica, Luis Abinader, junto al ministro de Turismo, David Collado, inaugur\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles la segunda etapa del Malec\u00f3n de Santo Domingo Este, una obra de remozamiento costero que forma parte del programa de recuperaci\u00f3n de espacios p\u00fablicos y tur\u00edsticos del litoral dominicano.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan las informaciones oficiales y medios locales, la intervenci\u00f3n tuvo una inversi\u00f3n aproximada de RD$314 millones dentro de un proyecto total que supera los RD$650 millones para ambas fases.<\/p>\n

La segunda etapa completa la transformaci\u00f3n del malec\u00f3n ubicado en la avenida Espa\u00f1a, abarcando aproximadamente 4.1 kil\u00f3metros de litoral y m\u00e1s de 237 mil metros cuadrados de \u00e1reas recreativas y parque natural.<\/p>\n

El proyecto incluye mejoras como nuevos espacios de esparcimiento y recreaci\u00f3n familiar, \u00e1reas de parqueo adicionales, senderos peatonales y ciclov\u00edas, paisajismo e iluminaci\u00f3n, reordenamiento urbano del entorno costero y refuerzo de seguridad con presencia de Politur.<\/p>\n

El ministro Collado ha destacado que esta obra forma parte de una estrategia nacional para recuperar malecones y frentes mar\u00edtimos en varias provincias del pa\u00eds, con el objetivo de impulsar el turismo urbano y mejorar el acceso ciudadano a espacios p\u00fablicos.<\/p>\n

Con esta entrega, el Gobierno da por concluida la intervenci\u00f3n total del malec\u00f3n de Santo Domingo Este, considerado uno de los proyectos de mayor impacto urbano y tur\u00edstico en esa zona.<\/p>\n
