{"id":308059,"date":"2026-03-16T03:10:43","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T07:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/almomento.net\/?p=1105519"},"modified":"2026-03-16T03:10:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T07:10:43","slug":"manuel-nova-presenta-libro-asesinato-de-orlando-martinez","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mundoalvivo.com\/?p=308059","title":{"rendered":"Manuel Nova presenta libro asesinato de Orlando Mart\u00ednez"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SANTO DOMINGO.- El periodista \u00a0Manuel Nova puso en circulaci\u00f3n este domingo a novela hist\u00f3rica \u201cSable\u201d, que aborda la vida, pensamiento y violento asesinato de Orlando Mart\u00ednez Howley, director de la revista \u00a1Ahora!, ocurrido el 17 de marzo de 1975.<\/p>\n<p>El acto se efectu\u00f3 en la sala A\u00edda Cartagena Portalat\u00edn, de la Biblioteca Nacional Pedro Henr\u00edquez Ure\u00f1a, donde estuvieron en la mesa principal el autor de la obra, Rafael Peralta Romero, director de la biblioteca; los escritores Emilia Pereyra, Oscar L\u00f3pez Reyes, Eliades Acosta y el ex Juez de instrucci\u00f3n Juan Miguel Castillo Pantale\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1105520\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1105520\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1105520\" src=\"http:\/\/almomento.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/manuel-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/almomento.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/manuel-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/almomento.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/manuel-1024x684.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/almomento.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/manuel-768x513.jpg 768w, http:\/\/almomento.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/manuel-142x95.jpg 142w, http:\/\/almomento.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/manuel-375x250.jpg 375w, http:\/\/almomento.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/manuel.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1105520\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Manuel Nova<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La presentaci\u00f3n de la obra estuvo a cargo de L\u00f3pez Reyes, decano de la Escuela de Comunicaci\u00f3n de la Universidad Dominicana\u00a0O &amp; M.<\/p>\n<p>Eliades Acosta, ex director de la Biblioteca Nacional de La Habana, Cuba, coment\u00f3 la trayectoria del autor del libro.<\/p>\n<p>En la novela Sable, Nova reconstruye los acontecimientos que condujeron a la operaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtico-militar que seg\u00f3 la vida del periodista Mart\u00ednez.<\/p>\n<p>La obra plantea que el asesinato no fue un hecho aislado sino parte de una operaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtico-militar organizada llamada \u201cSable\u201d.
