SANTO DOMINGO. \u2013 <\/strong>En la continuaci\u00f3n de su labor de control migratorio, los agentes de la Direcci\u00f3n General de Migraci\u00f3n (DGM) este martes 17 de febrero detuvieron a 698 extranjeros en condici\u00f3n irregular.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, la instituci\u00f3n recibi\u00f3 412 que les fueron entregados por el Ej\u00e9rcito de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana (ERD), el Cuerpo Especializado en Seguridad Fronteriza Terrestre (CESFRONT) y la Polic\u00eda Nacional (PN), lo que sum\u00f3 1,110 personas.<\/p>\n

La jornada incluy\u00f3 la deportaci\u00f3n de 977 personas indocumentadas hacia Hait\u00ed. Por el paso fronterizo formal de El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a salieron 461, Dajab\u00f3n 355, Jiman\u00ed 84 y Pedernales 77.<\/p>\n

DETENCIONES EN PROVINCIAS<\/strong><\/p>\n

En la macroregi\u00f3n Sureste, el centro de las operaciones directas de la DGM fue el Gran Santo Domingo, que registr\u00f3 139 detenciones. Hacia el Este, la zona de La Altagracia y La Romana sumaron 66.<\/p>\n

Los apresados en El Cibao (Norte\/Noroeste) fueron 51 en La Vega, y en Santiago de los Caballeros, 27. En Dajab\u00f3n 60, en Monte Cristi 50 y en Mao y Santiago Rodr\u00edguez 36. Otros despliegues incluyeron a Espaillat y Hermanas Mirabal con 19 y Puerto Plata 16.<\/p>\n

En la macroregi\u00f3n Suroeste, en El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a hubo 63 detenciones y en Pedernales 62. En esta misma regi\u00f3n, Independencia (Jiman\u00ed) registr\u00f3 40, seguida por Azua y Peravia 27, Barahona 23 y Bahoruco 19.<\/p>\n

Con esas acciones, la DGM cumple con la misi\u00f3n de mantener el orden migratorio, ratificando su compromiso con el cumplimiento de los procesos legales vigentes.<\/p>\n
