SANTO DOMINGO.- El partido Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) advirti\u00f3 sobre posible privatizaci\u00f3n del servicio en el proyecto de Ley General de Agua que es estudiado en una comisi\u00f3n en el Senado.<\/p>\n
Una comisi\u00f3n del Subgabinete Agroalimentario y Ambiental de FP entreg\u00f3 a su senador Omar Fern\u00e1ndez, representante del del Distrito Nacional, un documento resultado de un an\u00e1lisis minucioso, art\u00edculo por art\u00edculo de la iniciativa.<\/p>\n
El gripo lo integran los ingenieros Paino Abreu Collado, titular de la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente; H\u00e9ctor Acosta, de Asuntos Agropecuarios; Modesto Reyes, de Desarrollo Rural; y Arturo Socias, de Cuencas Hidrogr\u00e1ficas.<\/p>\n
En el documento advierten que varios art\u00edculos del referido proyecto generan preocupaciones en torno a posibles esquemas de privatizaci\u00f3n del recurso h\u00eddrico, lo que podr\u00eda comprometer su car\u00e1cter de bien esencial y patrimonial de la naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
EL AGUA CONSTITUYE UN DERECHO HUMANO PUBLICO<\/strong><\/p>\n Indicaron que el agua constituye un derecho humano reconocido por las Naciones Unidas y garantizado por la Constituci\u00f3n de la Rep\u00fablica y la legislaci\u00f3n ambiental vigente, por lo que cualquier marco normativo debe preservar su condici\u00f3n de bien p\u00fablico bajo rector\u00eda del Estado.<\/p>\n Para FP es impostergable la aprobaci\u00f3n de una Ley General de Agua que actualice, modernice y unifique el marco normativo existente, eliminando la dispersi\u00f3n institucional que actualmente dificulta una gesti\u00f3n eficiente y sostenible del recurso.<\/p>\n Asimismo, alert\u00f3 sobre el deterioro progresivo de las cuencas hidrogr\u00e1ficas y la degradaci\u00f3n de humedales, r\u00edos, arroyos y lagunas, situaciones que ponen en riesgo la seguridad h\u00eddrica presente y futura del pa\u00eds ante acciones ilegales que no siempre reciben la intervenci\u00f3n oportuna de las autoridades competentes.<\/p>\n an\/am<\/p>\n Comp\u00e1rtelo en tus redes:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Los dirigentes de FP entregan el documento al senador Omar Fern\u00e1ndez.
