SANTO DOMINGO.- A partir del domingo 1 de febrero la Junta Central Electoral (JCE) <\/span>dejar\u00e1 de emitir c\u00e9dulas con el formato actual.<\/p>\n

Explic\u00f3 en un comunicado <\/span>que en el periodo de transici\u00f3n del cambio de documento, se han realizado adecuaciones t\u00e9cnicas, operativas y de interoperabilidad entre el sistema actual y el nuevo modelo.<\/p>\n

\u201cAdem\u00e1s de la incorporaci\u00f3n de nuevos equipos de grabado l\u00e1ser, con el objetivo de garantizar mayores niveles de seguridad, calidad y eficiencia en la emisi\u00f3n de la nueva c\u00e9dula como documento definitivo\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anunci\u00f3 que requieran <\/span>el documento en ese periodo, les ser\u00e1n entregados \u201cde manera temporal\u201d certificaciones de c\u00e9dulas sin costo, hasta marzo de 2027, cuando concluir\u00e1 el proceso de cambio.<\/p>\n

Asegur\u00f3 que las certificaciones \u201ccuentan con validez institucional y permiten realizar gestiones administrativas y legales\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
