SANTO DOMINGO.- El presidente de la Alianza por la Democracia (APD), Max Puig, opin\u00f3 que es urgente reorientar el modelo productivo y social de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana hacia \u201cun desarrollo verdaderamente sostenible, con equidad social, fortalecimiento institucional y una lucha firme contra la corrupci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n
Dijo que aunque la econom\u00eda dominicana ha crecido de manera sostenida en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, este crecimiento no siempre ha sido de calidad ni ha beneficiado a la mayor\u00eda de la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
\u201cHemos crecido mucho, pero en muchos renglones hemos crecido mal. El desaf\u00edo es producir y organizarnos socialmente de forma que se garantice el bienestar colectivo y la sostenibilidad del territorio\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Puig al ser entrevistado en el programa Uno + Uno, de Teleantillas.<\/p>\n
Por otra parte, destac\u00f3 el papel de la APD dentro de la coalici\u00f3n que hizo posible el cambio de gobierno en 2020, el cual -a su juicio, se produjo debido al rechazo ciudadano a un esquema de corrupci\u00f3n y concentraci\u00f3n de poder que se hab\u00eda agotado.<\/p>\n
Fue enf\u00e1tico en se\u00f1alar que el proceso iniciado no puede estancarse. \u201cEste proceso debe profundizarse, no interrumpirse. Eso implica m\u00e1s combate a la corrupci\u00f3n, fortalecer el Ministerio P\u00fablico y avanzar en reformas que coloquen al pueblo en el centro de las decisiones\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n
Aleg\u00f3 que actualmente en el mundo hay una crisis de m\u00faltiples dimensiones, en la que convergen tensiones econ\u00f3micas, sociales, pol\u00edticas y ambientales. \u00c7<\/p>\n
Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que \u201cesta policrisis est\u00e1 erosionando la democracia y la soberan\u00eda de las naciones, y ning\u00fan pa\u00eds puede analizar su rumbo pol\u00edtico al margen de ese escenario internacional\u201d.<\/p>\n
