SANTO DOMINGO.- El Instituto Nacional de Tr\u00e1nsito y Transporte Terrestre (INTRANT) reiter\u00f3 que no permitir\u00e1 tr\u00e1nsito de veh\u00edculos de carga por las Zonas de Acceso Restringido (ZAR).<\/p>\n

En documento remitido a ALMOMENTO.NET dijo que la medida forma parte de las acciones de regulaci\u00f3n y control orientadas a prevenir accidentes, reducir riesgos y salvar vidas en \u00e1reas urbanas de alta circulaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u00abEsta restricci\u00f3n se ejecuta en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Direcci\u00f3n General de Seguridad de Tr\u00e1nsito y Transporte Terrestre y busca ordenar la circulaci\u00f3n del transporte pesado y evitar que se muevan por \u00e1reas no permitidas, protegiendo la seguridad de conductores, peatones y dem\u00e1s usuarios de las v\u00edas\u00bb, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n

REUNION CON CAMIONEROS<\/strong><\/p>\n

El INTRANT inform\u00f3 que sostuvo un encuentro con representantes de un grupo de camioneros que se manifestaron recientemente, con el prop\u00f3sito de escuchar sus inquietudes y explicar el alcance de la medida.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, indic\u00f3 que se dar\u00e1 seguimiento a lo ocurrido a fin de verificar los procedimientos aplicados y asegurar que se correspondan con lo establecido en la normativa vigente.<\/p>\n

INTRANT dijo que los manifestantes no pertenecen a la Federaci\u00f3n Nacional de Transporte Dominicano, organizaci\u00f3n con la cual se mantiene una comunicaci\u00f3n \u00abpermanente y coordinada\u00bb sobre los temas vinculados al transporte de carga.<\/p>\n
