SANTO DOMINGO.- <\/span> Andrea Matos Ferreras, madre de la periodista Dominga Valdez, falleci\u00f3 este domingo a los 101 a\u00f1os de edad.<\/p>\n

Matos Ferreras era oriunda de Las Clavellinas de Neyba, y fue reconocida por su longevidad, fortaleza y el profundo amor con el que form\u00f3 a su familia, dejando un legado invaluable para las generaciones que le sobreviven.<\/span><\/p>\n

Valdez, periodista de Di\u00e1spora Dominicana y secretaria general del Colegio Dominicano de Periodistas (CDP) en Puerto Rico, expres\u00f3 su dolor a trav\u00e9s de un emotivo mensaje publicado en sus redes sociales, donde siempre destac\u00f3 la vitalidad y lucidez de su madre: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>Devastada. La<\/span> reina de mi coraz\u00f3n ha partido a morar con su Padre celestial. As\u00ed deseo recordarte, madre amada. Agradecida con nuestro Dios por permitirnos a nuestra madre por 101 a\u00f1os. Ve tranquila, amor. Vuela en paz, mi Andre\u00edta amada\u201d, escribi\u00f3 la periodista.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Matos Ferreras le sobreviven sus hijos Cristiana, Mar\u00eda, Donato, Arelis y Dominga. Sus restos ser\u00e1n expuestos ma\u00f1ana lunes a partir de las 2:00 de la tarde en la funeraria Blandino, de la avenida Sabana Larga, en Santo Domingo Este.<\/span><\/p>\n
