Reside en Nueva York<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">Hoy (martes) se conmemora el solemne quinto aniversario del ataque al Capitolio del 6 de Enero, una insurrecci\u00f3n violenta instigada por Donald Trump, cuando miles de sus seguidores intentaron impedir la transferencia pac\u00edfica del poder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">Yo estaba all\u00ed, preparado para cumplir con mis deberes y certificar las elecciones, como lo hemos hecho despu\u00e9s de cada elecci\u00f3n general desde la fundaci\u00f3n de nuestra naci\u00f3n hace 250 a\u00f1os. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">Afortunadamente, gracias a la extraordinaria valent\u00eda de la Polic\u00eda del Capitolio de Estados Unidos y otras fuerzas del orden, su intento de anular las elecciones de 2020 fracas\u00f3. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">Tr\u00e1gicamente, m\u00e1s de 140 agentes de polic\u00eda resultaron gravemente heridos y varios perdieron la vida.
