PUERTO PLATA, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.- Durante las \u00faltimas horas se han producido inundaciones en  comunidades de esta jurisdicci\u00f3n atl\u00e1ntica, debido a fuertes lluvias causadas por la interacci\u00f3n de una vaguada y un frente fr\u00edo anunciados desde el pasado viernes.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan reportes de prensa, hay inundaciones en sectores de las zonas sur y c\u00e9ntrica as\u00ed como en  barriadas de la parte baja de la ciudad, consideradas \u00e1reas vulnerables a las escorrent\u00edas.<\/p>\n

ACCIONES DE CONTINGENCIA<\/strong><\/p>\n

El Comit\u00e9 de Prevenci\u00f3n, Mitigaci\u00f3n y Respuesta (CPMR) de Puerto Plata inform\u00f3 sobre la activaci\u00f3n de acciones de contingencia ante el temporal y dijo que mantiene un monitoreo constante de la situaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n

Antes del mediod\u00eda, el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) coloc\u00f3 a las provincias Puerto Plata y Monte Cristi en alerta amarilla y en alerta verde a las de Espaillat, Hermanas Mirabal y Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades llaman a la poblaci\u00f3n a tener precauci\u00f3n ante los torrenciales aguaceros, con tormentas el\u00e9ctricas y r\u00e1fagas de viento, los cuales persistir\u00edan en menor intensidad hasta la tarde del martes.<\/p>\n
