SANTO DOMINGO.- Un mayor del Ej\u00e9rcito Nacional fue detenido este s\u00e1bado en relaci\u00f3n con  la muerte de un balazo en la cabeza  de la joven Perla Jokasta Santos Pacheco, de 19 a\u00f1os, inform\u00f3 la Polic\u00eda Nacional.<\/p>\n

Fue identificado como Diego Geraldo Mesa Arismendy<\/strong>, de 48 a\u00f1os, cuya imagen aparece en un video de una c\u00e1mara de seguridad del sector Los Guandules, de esta capital,  donde  se produjo la muerte la madrugada del 26 de diciembre.<\/p>\n

\u201cLos agentes actuantes realizaron m\u00faltiples levantamientos de c\u00e1maras de videovigilancia, as\u00ed como la recolecci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis de evidencias, lo que permiti\u00f3 identificar, ubicar y arrestar al presunto autor del hecho\u201d, agreg\u00f3 la uniformada<\/p>\n

No se ha informado sobre los motivos que habr\u00eda tenido el oficial para cometer el hecho ni tampoco las circunstancias que habr\u00edan rodeado el mismo.<\/p>\n

Mesa Arismendy est\u00e1 bajo custodia y ser\u00e1 enviado al Ministerio P\u00fablico.  \u201cLas investigaciones contin\u00faan en curso, por lo que oportunamente se estar\u00e1n ofreciendo mayores detalles conforme avance el proceso judicial\u201d, inform\u00f3 la Polic\u00eda.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
