SANTO DOMINGO. \u2013 El Ministerio de Obras P\u00fablicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC) inform\u00f3 que a partir de las 7:00 de la noche de este s\u00e1bado y hasta las 7:00 de la ma\u00f1ana del domingo ser\u00e1n cerrados los carriles centrales y locales del kil\u00f3metro 9 de la Autopista Duarte.<\/p>\n
En documento remitido a ALMOMENTO.NET la instituci\u00f3n inform\u00f3 que el cierre se realizar\u00e1 con el objetivo de izar elementos estructurales fundamentales para la continuidad de los trabajos de construcci\u00f3n del nuevo puente peatonal.<\/p>\n
Dijo que se trata de una obra arquitect\u00f3nica dise\u00f1ada para mejorar la seguridad vial y la movilidad de peatones y conductores en uno de los puntos de mayor tr\u00e1nsito del Gran Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n
Durante el horario indicado, el tr\u00e1nsito ser\u00e1 canalizado por rutas alternas debidamente se\u00f1alizadas, con el apoyo de agentes de la Direcci\u00f3n General de Seguridad de Tr\u00e1nsito y Transporte Terrestre (DIGESETT).<\/p>\n
En ese sentido, los conductores que se desplacen de Este a Oeste deber\u00e1n tomar el ramal de la Autopista Duarte hacia Los Pr\u00f3ceres y realizar el retorno en la entrada de Los R\u00edos, mientras que quienes transiten de Oeste a Este deber\u00e1n tomar el ramal hacia el sur en la avenida Luper\u00f3n, realizar el retorno por la calle Olof Palme y reincorporarse a la avenida John F. Kennedy.<\/p>\n
