<strong>Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica (MSP)<\/strong> alert\u00f3 sobre un <strong>incremento significativo en los contagios por el virus sincitial respiratorio (VSR)<\/strong>, al informar que durante la <strong>semana epidemiol\u00f3gica 47<\/strong> se alcanz\u00f3 el <strong>punto m\u00e1s elevado del a\u00f1o<\/strong>, superando ampliamente los niveles registrados en <strong>2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La instituci\u00f3n explic\u00f3 que este aumento se refleja en una <strong>mayor demanda de atenciones m\u00e9dicas<\/strong>, con especial impacto en <strong>ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os<\/strong>, quienes presentan con mayor frecuencia <strong>cuadros de bronquiolitis y neumon\u00eda<\/strong> asociados a este virus respiratorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De acuerdo con el MSP, el <strong>VSR contin\u00faa siendo el pat\u00f3geno predominante<\/strong> entre las enfermedades respiratorias en circulaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds y es <strong>responsable de la mayor\u00eda de los casos que requieren hospitalizaci\u00f3n en la poblaci\u00f3n infantil<\/strong>, lo que mantiene en alerta a los servicios de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las autoridades sanitarias reiteraron la importancia de la <strong>vigilancia epidemiol\u00f3gica<\/strong>, as\u00ed como de la <strong>detecci\u00f3n temprana y atenci\u00f3n oportuna<\/strong>, especialmente en menores de edad, ante el aumento sostenido de los
